Paa Michael vera Nso died on the 28th of OCT 2022 and a program came up as follows ; Friday 18th of November, removal of the body and mass and wake keep at St Peter and paul cathedral dla Akwa.
On the the 19th of Nov was the funeral mass and Burial rites with reception, at the Logbessou catholic church and IUC university hall respectively. SAMSEA then rallied behind Javnyuy to mourn and console with him.
On the 18th November ,some of us were present at the mortuary to take the body for the weak keep mass . After the mass ,we had a meeting on how to represent the 95 class of 95,the follow day which was the burial proper . On the day of the burial proper and rites , we started with holly mass and followed suit to the hall , for the reception. Since we were putting on out 3rd Batch t-shirts , we decided to take over some tasks like shearing of drinks and opening of drinks. In a nutshell, making sure everyone who came for the reception was satisfied in having what to eat or drink. As cultural as we are , we participated in some traditional rituals, and dances to end the the day . Let’s be each and everyone’s keeper .
