SAMS and it’s extended community

Dear All, on January 31st 2023, our beloved fr Peter Watson will be 90. A milestone, as we all know. Please, God he will still be alive.
Perhaps as his children and ex students and all whom he taught and touched, especially those living in the uk, it is worth considering and planning a little (surprise or no surprise) visit to see him even for an hour or two; or to put together a souvenir of any kind to send to him in Liverpool.
Just a thought.
God bless all missionaries who brought us the faith and inspired us in one way or another.

We will organize the Uk to represent SAMS and it’s extended community

Paa Michael vera Nso died on the 28th of OCT 2022, and a program came up as follows; Friday 18th of November, removal of the body and mass and wake keep at St Peter and paul cathedral DLA Akwa.

On the 19th of Nov were the funeral mass and Burial rites with a reception at the Logbessou catholic church and IUC university hall, respectively. SAMSEA then rallied behind Javnyuy to mourn and console him.

On the 18th of November, some of us were at the mortuary to take the body for the weak keep mass. After the mass, we met on how to represent the 95 class 95; the following day, which was the burial proper. On the day of the burial, Prosper and rites, we started with holly mass and followed suit to the hall for the reception. Since we were putting on our 3rd Batch of t-shirts, we decided to take over some tasks like shearing drinks and opening drinks. In a nutshell, ensuring everyone who came for the reception was satisfied with having what to eat or drink. As cultural as we are, we participated in some traditional rituals and dances to end the day. Let’s be each and everyone’s keeper.
